When I first received your email, it was a bad day to begin with and hearing that you were leaving the hospital was just another bad moment. But I knew you would be leaving Miramichi at some point. I'm happy you are still with TMR and of course, I'm happy for Brett and Mallow!
Oh gosh, wow, what a terrific post. I'm so excited for your new chapter, Alison - your new job, new city, new place to live - absolutely wonderful. I appreciate that it doesn't make the goodbyes to people and places and things any easier, but every ending represents a new beginning, and I'm excited for you for that. Onwards and upwards!
Congratulations on your new adventure!! Your description of how time passed by and you witnessed it ( “I struggle to figure out how exactly that much time has gone by - I mean, the last few years barely count, but I’m at a loss for the rest. The calendar kept flipping and I kept on” ) is also a perfect description of where I am as I am planning to move on from my current position (that I thought was going to be only for 2-3 years, but now 6.5 years later I am still here)
Beautiful and so tender. Thank you for writing Alison. Wishing many wonderful and heartfelt comforts of memory travel with you. Looking forward to reading more from Halifax.
You will be missed for sure. You did an amazing job and will be an asset to your now job. Keep in touch! ❤️❤️
